Community world seeds worth trying
A seed decides the layout of your starting region — the terrain and where the structures sit on it. It does not decide what is inside those structures. That is the one thing worth knowing before you pick one: you are choosing a neighborhood, not a loot list.

Since the 1.0 launch, players have been trading seeds on the Steam forums like numbers in a lottery. Below are the ones shared in the "Share your fav world Seed" thread, with what each start put the player near — in their own words.

How to enter a seed
- Choose a new game.
- In the new-game menu, click the seed box and type the number. The box does not accept input until you click it first — the single most common trip-up players mention.
- Play. The same seed rebuilds the same starting region, so a seed a friend gives you looks the same when you load it.
Community seeds worth trying
Click any seed number to copy it. melojei ran an "angel numbers" set (11111 → 2222 → 333 → 4444) and compared all four.

What a seed really controls
The thread's most useful observations came from players comparing notes:
"Loot at POIs generates when you approach from what I've seen. I've been reloading my save at start on the same seed, and the building POI I go to sometimes has a truck, other times a rust bucket car, and once the blue car from the demo." — Jahon
"The seed doesn't account for what car you spawn with or what's at camps. I've been given different cars each time I started a seed." — Jesse
That settles the honest way to use a seed: pick one whose start places you near the structure types you want — a garage for storage, a trader for early money, a lab for late-game runs — then take the loot as it lands. Anyone promising you "the best car spawn" from a seed number is selling something the seed cannot deliver.
Where these seeds come from
All nine come from the Share your fav world Seed thread on the Apocalypter Steam forums, collected on September 29, 2026, on the 1.0 release build. They are player reports — numbers that helped one start can roll a mediocre loot layout for the next. If a seed stops reproducing its reported start after a big update, tell us via the contact page and it gets pulled.
