Current price and the expired launch offer
The current US base-game listing is $14.99. The old $12.74 introductory price was a launch offer, not a current purchase price. The developer's Post-Apocalyptic bundle groups this game with The Slaverian Trucker; bundle totals depend on region, current promotions and games already owned, so compare the checkout rather than an old fixed total.
Five main-game hotfix announcements through October 9 are summarized below. Their save-compatibility notes concern existing full-game saves, not a demo-to-release import.

Demo performance is a trial of an older reduced build; it does not guarantee the same performance in every release scene or setting.
Achievements
All 11 are clear-the-category goals. Names, Steam's wording and the October 19, 2026 global rates are on the achievements page. The launch-week 0.1% figures are out of date; wrecks are now at 29%.
What the 1.0 build confirms
- The warlord hunt is real and central: "Send every Warboss to the grave" is an achievement, so the trophy loop from the store page shipped.
- Multiple vehicles ("every vehicle lost to the dust"), mutants and animals as separate categories, caves, camps, buildings and wrecks are all in — each is its own achievement.
- Both demo factions return (Coyotes, Scrapyard), and weapons are now a collection goal rather than a demo shortlist.
- Steam Cloud and Family Sharing are listed store features, which the demo never had.
Post-launch patches so far
The promised hotfixes started landing within 72 hours of release, and five have shipped in the first two and a half weeks — all kept save compatibility, with the usual caveat that some fixes only apply to newly spawned items or a fresh start.
| Date | Patch | Player-facing changes |
|---|---|---|
| Sep 26 | Hotfix #1 | A big bugfix batch: supercharger detach on V8/V12 engines, the cassette double-eject, Brickstop camp spawning cars after loading, the invisible seed prompt, the too-short Tower of Terror ladder, sleeping with fatigue disabled, bandages after death, boss music and UI stuck in peaceful mode, selling liquids, and engine/radiator physics lock after loading. Gameplay changes: fall damage disabled for now, sleep no longer needs minimum tiredness, rear bumpers auto-detach when a trailer is attached, and the Black Juggernaut's HP went up to 6000 |
| Sep 28 | Hotfix #2 | The "neck crank" item-holding bug, wheels taking damage while being hauled, the car-wreck invisible collider, Mechanic and Organic Mechanic missing from the Codex, batteries that could not be picked up after killing a merchant, and plants' dark shading under interior lights |
| Sep 30 | Hotfix #3 | A controls-heavy batch: throttle, brake, clutch and steering keys that could not be rebound, the move-button names missing from the Controls settings screen, the missing sound on the Gameplay cheats back button, explosion radius damage that lingered and kept hurting the player, sandstorms turning back toward the player after a load, the Scrapyard hangar roof losing its collision, the player sinking into the dog-boat hull, cassettes failing to lock physics after a load, and small cars shaking with a suspension lift kit installed. Added: a Disable Sandstorm toggle under Settings and Gameplay Cheats. |
| Oct 1 | Hotfix #4 | A single fix, and a targeted one: for some players the throttle, brake, clutch and steering keys did not work at all. Save compatibility holds. |
| Oct 9 | Hotfix #5 | Another load-and-interaction batch: players who could not interact with anything, dropped items that kept respawning above the player, dead enemy names stuck on screen, trailers that detached on load, engines and radiators that did not physics-lock after a load (making car and trailer jump), cassettes that fell out of their physics lock, and ladders that could not be used on the radio tower. Clutch not working for some players is fixed again. Changed: backpack and body armor are now worn or swapped with Hold (F) |
Before buying
Choose the released main game, app 4146760, or the older free demo, app 4152070. The main game's $14.99 US price is the November 3 snapshot; a historic launch offer is not a current checkout promise. Demo saves and full-game hotfix compatibility are separate questions. Demo scope.
